Online experience w Marks

Super useless. If I can chose 0 stars or one big minus I would. Do not order anything from Marks online or you will be unpleasntly suprised.

Frustrating

Frustrating! I made a significant purchase online for summer clothing. Due to recent illness and significant weight loss, I was uncertain about sizing. So, I ordered based on their online measurements. Everything was too big. Went online to review return policy and procedure. Read that in Ontario, "essential items" could be returned to stores in Ontario. What's considered "essential"?? I called the closest store to me, Simcoe, Ontario to find out. The woman who answered the phone was impatient, quick to get me off the phone, and kept sighing heavily as I asked a question (I asked 3 questions in total). No customer service...no answers to my questions that were helpful.
Now I wait to be able to return my items when Covid restricions are allowed. I'll spend the money elsewhere.

Customer service in Sherwood Park? ????????

No customer service in the Mark’s Work Warehouse Sherwood Park store.
I went in today to purchase 2 pairs of Carharts @ $94.99 each for my husband but they did not have the “fit” that we wanted.
After speaking with the cashier to see if she can bring some in for me and telling her 3 times that I could not bring up the item for her to scan because they did not have it in store, she called someone from that department to help me. Apparently the cashier does not have the power or wit to search for a SKU number.
Once she called someone else to help I walked to the back of the store and found someone but she was dressed casually and had NO NAME TAG on. She was holding a box of shoes in one hand and could have been a customer. So I asked her “do you work here?” To which she shrugged at me as if to say “well yeah I’m holding merchandise,” and said “well yeah.” I ignored her rudeness and explained to her what I needed and asked if she can order them in for me. She said that she needs the SKU number or “item” number. At this point I asked her to search the item to which she refused and told me to go online to get the item number. ????????‍♀️ Excuse me? No effort on her part. ????. No offer to phone another store; no customer service or INITIATIVE. Like hey let’s think outside the box on this one and maybe look it up online FOR the customer.
Clearly management is lacking in the training department of their staff.
I walked out and on my way the cashier asked if I got any help. I told her that the other person was no help and that their “service” was ridiculous.
I tried calling the main customer service line and there is a message saying that they were experiencing “technical difficulties.”
I will take my $200 purchase elsewhere and will not step foot in that store again.

No Such Thing as Customer Service

Today I went to online Marks to take advantage of sale. However when I went to pay for my items it would not come up. So I called online support and the main store in Huntsville. A total waste of an hour as no help from anyone. The online rep was so negative and could not assist in anyway. He claimed it was my fault and there were no problems with the current online system!! So frustrating

Mark's online order returns are a pain

I ordered some shoes online, then wanted to cancel before they arrived. I was informed (very nicely, by the way) that I had to drive to the store to pick up the shoes and then return them. I could not cancel online. The result is a 12 kilometer return trip and an hour of my time wasted.

They dont answer emails and they dont…

They dont answer emails and they dont have a number. I want to return something and iam getting no where. Bad service and i will never order from them again

Poor online delivery options

Poor online delivery options. I live 30ish Km outside Edmonton, so I decided to order online to avoid going into the store/social distance and all that. The problem is they shipped the order with Loomis who is well known to not deliver outside of major cities. So instead of just going in and getting the items, I had to drive >80Km past multiple stores to the nearest Loomis depot, spend over 15min standing outside in the rain waiting for them to find my package. Why hire a delivery company that they know will not deliver and actually take my items 50Km further away from me. Never again.

I spent over $50 and was given a hand…

I spent over $50 and was given a hand sanitizer as a gift, when I got home, I realized that I was charged for the item. I would not recommend shopping at Mark's.

Ordered an online gift card to be…

Ordered an online gift card to be delivered to my brother on Christmas Day. It’s February now and still have not received it. Called & emailed numerous times with empty promises someone will contact me. I’ve yet to receive a call or email. Honestly the worst experience ever. Oh but they withdrew my $100 no problem in December. Will never shop here again. Disgusting

Ordered online 2 months ago

Ordered online 2 months ago. Never arrived. 3 email, 3 calls and every time I get some "case numbers" but still no other action and no refund.
NEVER ORDER ONLINE!

Preeta - The BEST Customer Service Representative

This rating is only for an employee at Mark's Oakville location for the exceptional customer service she delivered. Due to a fault at another Mark's store, where they forgot to take off the electronic tag from my shoes I was unable to use the product and it kept beeping at every store I entered. I realized this only after coming home and had to step out again to a Mark's location to get this taken off. Only Mark's in Oakville was open for in-store shopping due to restrictions elsewhere. I drove from North York to Oakville at 7 pm and after all the struggle, the employee named Preeta helped me out like NO OTHER. She deserves a recognition as she went above and beyond her job role. She didn't have the "unique" tool to cut the tag in store but she found a way to cut it through a sharp scissor just to help me out. She injured her finger too because the tool was sharp but she did not give up. She kept on working on it until the tag was taken off and I was satisfied. Whoever is reading this, please choose this location and look for Preeta. She is one of the BEST customer service personnel I have ever come across in my life!
